SBMM Trust is established as a charitable foundation in 2018, SBMM Trust aims to help the poor peoples & understanding of their needs.

In rural areas, households headed by senior citizen have poverty ratio of 30.3% and in urban areas, households headed by senior citizen have poverty ratio of 20.0% as per the estimate of Planning Commission. As a developing country, India has very little social security in place for senior citizens. Pension coverage is as low as 11% of the entire workforce. About 65% of the aged in India depend on others for their day-to-day maintenance. Every day, there are millions of elderly who do not get the meals they need to thrive. SBBMT supports indigent senior citizens in Uttar Pradesh by providing a month’s worth of basic dry provisions to the very poor senior citizens who cannot fend for themselves. Senior Citizens call on our Helpline or come and meet in person for ration support. SBMMT also reaches out to the villages and search needy poor old people specially who are staying alone and having no one to take care in the family.

Our Ration project takes off after a physical verification of the genuineness of the case by a Social Worker. Once a beneficiary if enrolled in the programme, they receive ration month after month, without fail. We work to get nourishing food – from farmers, manufacturers, and retailers – to people in need. At the same time, we also seek to help the people we serve to build a path to a brighter, food-secure future
